A season of Brazilian films, which explores the social roots of violence in Brazil, will screen one of the most controversial and critically acclaimed documentaries ‘Bus 174’.

Rich Mix cinema in East London will host the screening next Thursday 8th May at 7.30PM and the evening will end with a Brazilian party with DJ Marcus Custodia.

Tickets are £7 for each film screening which includes entry fee to the after-party, or £3 for after party only. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Jungle CineClub is a Brazilian film festival initiated by Jungle Drums (Brazilian magazine) and ABC Trust (charity – Action for Brazil’s Children Trust) to raise awareness of the social issues affecting young people in Brazil today, and to promote Brazilian cinema and film-making talents to a UK audience.

7 groundbreaking films have been carefully selected to reflect the theme, which will be screened on monthly basis (2nd Thursday of every month except for August) and run until November 2008.
